What We Do

At Rebels Farm we understand that life is filled with obstacles. We deeply believe that everyone, regardless of where they come from or their starting point, should be given the opportunity to learn skills and gain confidence to guide them forward into a positive lifestyle.

We offer Equine Assisted healing and Equine Assisted Learning to individuals, couples, and groups who want to make significant and lasting changes in their lives.

Why Do We Use Horses?

Horse, due to their power and size, can be intimidating but what many don't know is horses have an inherent instict to herd  - in better words an instinct to belong.

Like us, these magical animals have personalities, attitudes, and a variety of moods; what works with one horse might not work with another. This provides opportunities for people to learn skills to help them navigate different obstacles one might face.

Horses respond with unique insight into exactly who we are in the moment. They are gifted reflectors of our true selves because their very survival depends on reading us right.

Because they can read and respond to the nonverbal messages we are always sending, they begin to act in ways that feel familiar to other relationships or dynamics in our lives. They become our spouse, partner, colleague, children, dreams, fears, addictions, etc. This gives us a chance to work through those relationships and issues in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.

Why Is There No Riding?

In this work, the horses are able to be themselves and not have to act a certain way, just like our clients can do. This is a space to explore, be ourselves, and build relationships on equal footing.
