Using holistic activities and equine assisted healing, we address mental health and personal development needs to those impacted by the criminal justice system.

Equine Assisted Healing
Why We Use Equines
Like us, these magical animals have different personalities, attitudes, and moods. What works with one equine might not work with another. Since equines can read the nonverbal messages we are always sending, they begin to respond and in ways that feel familiar to other relationships or dynamics in our lives. They become our spouse, partner, colleague, children, dreams, fears, addictions, etc. This gives us a chance to work through those relationships and challenges in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
Equines, due to their power and size, can be intimidating. However, what many people don't know is that horses have an instinct to herd - in better words an instinct to belong. They have unique insight into exactly who we are in the moment. They are gifted reflectors of our true selves because their very survival depends on reading their surroundings appropriately.
