Rebels Farm: The Herd Within Prison Project

 This unique multi-day program brings a small herd of equines inside correctional institutions. The Herd Within Prison Project includes minimum to maximum security inmates nationally. The program consists of application based, voluntary groups that work to build skills such as communication, compassion and emotional regulation.

This program has 3 parts:

 I. Intro to Equine Healing

II.  Self Expression and Building Resiliency

III. R.E.B.E.L Buckaroo Program

The R.E.B.E.L Buckaroo Program:

Returning individuals get the opportunity to learn additional skills to support future herd members. This group receives in-depth education on equines and their behaviors  as well as essential tools to cofacilitating  The Herd Within Prison Project groups. A few of those key topics include authenticity, commitment, and group dynamics.
